Feast menu now posted!

The feast menu is now up. If you have allergy concerns or questions, please contact Dame Hrothny at online2much@cox.net

Combat Schedule and Update

After consultation with the marshal in charge, here’s the basic schedule for combat activities at Bullfrog:

10:00 Site and MoL opens
11:00 Authorizations
12:00 Rapier tourney begins.
2:30 Armored combat tourney begins – rapier tavern brawls in the main hall.

In other news, the ABC license has been acquired, and the menu is taking shape.  Apparently, our cook has been negotiating with a group of scurvy seamen just back from the Canary Isles and has procured some interesting, yummy, ‘bet-you-didn’t-know-it-was-period’ foods.

Any questions, as always, just ask, or email me at rwday@cox.net.

Rapier Activities

The rapier fighting scenarios are up on the Martial Activities Page.  Thanks, Maurice!  It looks like fun – almost makes me wish I was authorized rapier!

Fabulous pictures, courtesy of Lady Thyre, who also provided me a link to Lady Gudrun’s Flickr page from the Bullfrog she attended a few years back.

Photos

Thyre just posted a good question – the best way to get photos to me is to email them to rwday at cox dot net. All photos will be credited, of course! And if anyone has a graphic of the cartoon bullfrog we’ve used in the past – the one that’s on the signs currently in the storage unit, I’d love to have a copy.

Thanks,
Margret

Welcome to the non-official blog for Marinus’s upcoming event, Barnacled Bullfrog. For more official information, you can read the flyer in the Acorn, or visit the barony’s web page. But this site ought to be more interesting. I was working on a traditional web page, when it occurred to me that using blogging software would allow me to easily update information and give people the opportunity to easily ask questions or make suggestions. That’s the theory, anyway.

Event planning is well underway, and now that KASF is behind us, I should be adding menu information and fighting scenarios soon. In the meantime, if anyone out there has pictures from previous Bullfrogs you’d be willing to send me so I can post them here, please either comment on this post or email me at rwday@cox.net.
